GET READY TO GET LOUD AT A ONE DAY NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP AS WE TURN UP THE AMPS ON THE EXCITEMENT AT THIS ROCK STAR THEMED EVENT!
GLCC is returning to the CAL U Convocation Center in California, PA with the GLCC GET LOUD TOUR. Nothing is off limits at this Wild Crazy Fun event where your athletes and their spectators will be treated like Rock Stars! GLCC is known for producing interactive events that include everyone in the action. From the time you enter the parking lot until the time you leave the venue we plan to make this a LOUD Rock Star experience that your athletes and spectators will talk about all season long.
Upon arriving at the venue, coaches will meet with their agents, at the practice area check in, who will assist them with backstage passes, final paperwork and answer all questions. At that time we will provide coaches the most up to date schedule and practice times (playlist) for the day. About 35-40 minutes before the performance time you will meet your athletes in the spacious rehearsal area. To make sure your performance ROCKS we will include a full size practice floor, spring tumble strip, stretch mats, a professional audio system to play your music, water stations and an EMT just in case. New this year you will be provided with your very own agent who moves with your team through the practice area all the way to the loading area! From there, your athletes will move to the performance area featuring an LED screen and a concert style set up fitting of the rock stars that they are. Not to be left out of the ROCK experience, your spectators will be invited check in with their agent in the Information Booth near the entrance to pick up schedules for the day and get all the tour information that they need to have a ROCKIN DAY. Next the spectators are invited to stand in the “Groupie” area to give them a front row type experience to cheer on their favorite act! When the performers are done they will head to the “Step and Repeat” area where under bright lights and cameras they can meet their “groupies” and celebrate their amazing performance.
GLCC absolutely frowns upon dead time at our events. While the judges are tabulating scores or spectators are waiting for the next act, our emcee and staff may grab you from the stands to play one of our ROCKIN’ games, dance in the aisles, and hand out awards or throw out gifts to the crowd. While awards are being readied we offer a dance party for the participants and coaches of each session to keep the fun rolling. Don’t forget to bring your OUTSIDE VOICES and ROCKIN SPIRIT as we take the GET LOUD seriously!
For the third year our events are themed in the ROCK SPIRIT. We want every athlete, spectator and coach dressed up in their favorite rock style according to the event theme or you can just ROCK IT OUT in your all time favorite rock style! Feeling a little Groovy? Then feel free to come sporting some Disco or Flower Child. Need to release your inner Madonna or Hair Band? Go for an 80’s look! More relaxed rock style needed—take advantage of your Beach Rock/Luau side! Sportsmanship is also a very important part of our spirit award. GLCC strives to build a fun and family atmosphere for all participants, coaches and spectators. With both of these in mind, we will be giving the gym/school/studio with the best sportsmanship and spirit the coolest acrylic guitar to show off for Rock’N the crowd! So show us your sportsmanship, get in the SPIRIT, get in the GAMES, and GET LOUD!
GLCC offers unique awards and nothing says YOU ROCK more than having your own Platinum, Gold or Silver plaque on your gym wall to show off your accomplishment. Additionally, every athlete that wins a National Championship will receive points to shop and select from a wide range of shirts, jackets and other Rock’N gear that fits their rock star image from our Champion Store.
