As with all other cheer challenges, the Saltwater Challenge is very competitive. It is a challenge that focuses more on the cheerleader’s ability to cheer and get the crowd excited than it does on the dance aspect of the show. This ensures that everyone has to show what they are truly able to do, and everyone is judged by people who are willing to point out the flaws in a performance.
